It was certainly rather noisy on Monday morning when the police arrived at the Infant School to speak to the children about what it's like to be a Police Officer. The children had hours of fun trying on uniform and testing out the sirens as well as trying out one of the police vans. A huge thank you to the officers who were incredibly inspiring and ensured the children were beaming for the rest of the day!
A HUGE thank you to Mrs Deaves (and Mr Deaves) and Mrs Staicu for organising an incredible Prom for our Year 6 Leavers. It was a fabulous evening with so much fun and some wonderful moments that will make lasting memories as this cohort moves on to new adventures. A huge thank you also to the team of parents who gave up their afternoon/evening to help set up and ensure the event was a big success. Good luck, Year 6!
Although the weather almost got the better of us, we were delighted to hold our Sports Day this term. It was a pleasure to welcome back families on site to spectate and join in with the parents' races too. It would appear that there are some rather competitive grown ups in our school community! The children were fantastic and it was lovely to see some of them really shine. A big thank you to Mr Thrower and Miss Jewell for ensuring the day was so much fun.
A HUGE thank you to our wonderful FOPS Team for organising our second Parkland Colour Run. The weather was perfect and it was a delight to see everyone having so much fun. Pupils past and present, mums, dads, teachers and grandparents all looked exceptionally colourful. Even the llamas enjoyed rolling in the colours once everyone had gone home! Thank you all so much for supporting our wonderful schools.
